Steel making technology


The sponge iron plant's direct reduction iron smelting process equipment was introduced from David Company in the UK, and its scale and advanced level rank among the world's largest. Designed to produce 300000 tons of high-quality direct reduced iron annually, with a metallization rate of over 93%.


The ironmaking plant produces over 800000 tons of high-quality pig iron (including molten iron and iron ingots) annually, ensuring the supply of high-quality raw materials for self use steelmaking.


150 ton electric furnace system

It consists of a 150 ton ultra high power electric arc furnace, an LF external refining furnace, a VD vacuum degassing furnace, a ladle bottom blowing oxygen device, wire feeding equipment, and a six strand round billet continuous casting equipment, all of which are imported in complete sets from Mannesmann Demark Company in Germany. We can provide five specifications of continuous casting pipe blanks with diameters of  400, 350 mm, 310 mm, 270mm, and 210mm.


90 ton electric furnace system

It consists of a 90 ton ultra high power electric arc furnace, an LF external refining furnace, a VD vacuum degassing device, a ladle bottom oxygen blowing device, wire feeding equipment, and equipment such as six strand continuous casting square and round billets. The main equipment is imported from Italy, while other equipment is manufactured domestically. By technological transformation, a 25T medium frequency induction furnace was added to melt the alloy mother liquor, and the VD was transformed into VOD to meet the needs of decarburization and chromium retention, especially in the production of low-carbon stainless steel. At the same time, it has the ability to cast ingots (high alloy steel). We can provide five specifications of steel billets with diameters of ¥ 270 mm, ¥ 251mm, ¥ 210 mm, ¥ 150 mm, and 150 mm * 150 mm square billets

The main equipment includes an annular heating furnace, a conical roller piercing machine, 5 PQF continuous rolling machines with limited core rods, a 3-roll 14 stand sizing machine, and a 6-roll vertical oblique roller straightening machine. The PQF continuous rolling mill is a concentrated embodiment of advanced technology in modern seamless steel pipe production, achieving continuous and efficient seamless steel pipe production, and has a high degree of mechanization and automation. It represents the latest technological level of seamless steel pipe production in the world today.


258PQF pipe rolling unit

The main equipment includes an annular heating furnace, a conical roller piercing machine, a 6-frame PQF continuous rolling mill with restricted core rods, a 3-roll 14-frame sizing machine, and a 6-roll vertical oblique roller straightening machine. The directional replacement rack of the 258PQF continuous rolling mill, four core rod support devices, and the ability to thread rods online, significantly reduce tool consumption, and achieve uniform temperature, all of which make the product highly competitive.
